Thank God it is too. I am just about as sick and tired of school as one could possibly be. Tomorrow, however, is the beginning of ten straight days on the slopes of Poley Mountain. Boo yah!
On an unrelated note, I went to see Vantage Point tonight with Mark and it was pretty freakin crazy. I enjoyed it and it was quite suspenseful. I found out how much I am going to get for my car today (which I wrote off by the way) from the insurance company, and it is what I consider a pretty fair amount to be honest. I am not sure if that includes the roof rack or not, which was destroyed in the roll over.
I had the best nap ever today.
I am so glad that I don't have class now for the next week or so. Needless to say, I am burnt out from school.
Tomorrow night = Poley
Burton is at the hill on Saturday with their demo day so come check them out. Remember, Johnny and I at Outdoor Elements downtown will have Burton hard and soft goods starting in Fall 08'.
Cleve's is at the hill Sunday to demo their skis. Go try them out and then come in to our shop downtown and buy the ones you like from us! HA!
Pray that this next storm will bring all snow and no r@!n.
Parents beware...if your children are in the March break kid's camps at Poley this week...I might be polluting their minds with skiing propaganda...ahem....i mean teaching them to be better skiiers.

Winter life
Winter is far and away my most favourite season of the year and this year has been the best winter in recent memory. With almost 300 cm's of snow so far this year and a new job which I am enjoying immensely, life is pretty damn good.
This winter I am working two jobs and still going to school at UNB Fredericton. This fall, John McNair of Outdoor Elements here in Sussex offered me a job for the winter. While I don't work many hours outside of Christmas and March breaks, it's been an awesome time. I am still doing some ski instructing at Poley too and just got my Level II certification last weekend (woo hoo!).
Next fall could bring an increased involvement with him and the shop. That's my plan anyways.
March break is coming up and I am ready to ski for 10 straight days over the break. I can't wait for that. More snow is in the forecast for this weekend, which just pumps me up even more.
There are lots of events going on over March break at Poley Mountain. Check out www.poleymountain.com for a complete list and up to date conditions or see our group on Facebook. Hope to see you there!
