I had a couple close calls today...as in, my skis actually hit trees but glanced off of them in the right direction thankfully. Oh yeah, I bailed a couple of times trying a 180, which is sad.
It was another sweet day on the mountain today. After teaching between 10-12 I decided that I was "off" and hit up the slopes for some free skiing. Neil took me through this crazy tree run and it actually scared me (this was the close call). I thought I was going to die.
Did a bunch of crazy drops again today and darted in and out of the trees in order to catch some of the few remaining freshies.
I made some new friends today too while skiing with Neil. A couple of boarders from the Moncton area named Erin and Joel. We had a good time and after they fed me some carrots we went back out again and I showed them "the drop" on Carousel and we shredded it up until a bit after 5.
